But when my mom calls me, I cannot hear at all
You have an ear on each side of your head. Your ears let you hear sounds. You can hear music and other nice sounds. You can hear sirens and other warning sounds. Your ears do something else very important. They help you keep your balance. You can walk and ride a bike without falling over because of your ears.

According to a piece of article on Encarta kids, our ears let us hear sounds. I wonder why I cannot hear my mom’s voice whenever she calls me, and I thought that it is really weird. Maybe it is a bad attitude that each of us has, or maybe lazy kids only had that kind of illness; you kind of consider me as one of them.
Whenever I hear my mom calling, I began to hide, because I already know what she wants me to do; to wash dishes, to buy something outside and especially, to sweep the floor. These things really annoy me, because even though I am making some of my project or some school works, she will not consider it as an excuse for you not to obey them. Ugh; that is what I always say whenever they want me to do something, which I do not want to do.
Now I admit it. I am a lazy kid, are you?
